18:30 - "Security Intelligence in Azure SQL PaaS" by Janusz Rokicki

How to gain high quality insights and make good decisions in the context of security. Covers governance, risk management and compliance in public cloud and specifically focuses on Azure SQL PaaS resources. There will be practical examples of network topologies with their strengths and weaknesses, recommendations and best practices for hybrid and cloud-only solutions. In addition techniques to acquire knowledge like deception and chaos engineering and finally orchestration and instrumentation available in Azure: Security Center, Vulnerability Assessment, Threat Detection, Log Analytics and OMS, Data Classification, Key Vault and more.

Even with the right tooling, it can be tricky figuring out how to get an automated database deployment pipeline up and running. In this demo heavy session we will highlight how you can construct a database automated build and deployment pipeline from scratch, showing how to capture and check a database change into version control, validate the change, and then deploy the new version of the database into different environments.
